In 2019, Scintilla organized a LaTeX course. The files used in the course can be found here. Especially look at the manual and presentation. For these documents the relevant LaTeX files have also been included for your reference.

If you want to get started with LaTeX, then the last few pages of the manual have some basic exercises which can help you get started with your first document.
